Our 5 ft tall at the sides - Old Fashioned Relic Iron Gate fits in a 44" wide opening. Our antique style iron gates get handmade right here in America. In the 19th century, these wrought-iron designs became very popular as people spread across the frontier and settled in to locally-built homes. An iron fence and an entry gate became something of a statement about how purposeful the family was that dwelt within the property.

With demand increasing, Iron mills fired up across the Eastern U.S. to make gates and fencing that would eventually make its way to Chicago and throughout the Midwest. Many of those fence systems or gates still stand, and that's why we're making gates in the same style. Iron gates last generations.
